- Brush your teeth after every meal or at the very least in the morning and evening.
- Floss daily.
- Choose a toothbrush with soft bristles so you don't irritate your gums.
- Make sure you brush all of your teeth in a circular motion. Hold your toothbrush at a 45° angle to get all those hard to reach areas.
- Brush your tongue to help get rid of those stinky germs and bacteria.
- Visit your KidZaam KidZologist at least twice a year.
- Use a protective mouth guard if you're active in sports.

| Dental Dont's |
- Don't use too much toothpaste. A pea size drop is adequate.
- Don't swallow your toothpaste. Remember it's just for your teeth and gums, not your tummy.
- Don't brush too hard.
- Don't eat lots of gooey, sugary sweets that stick to your teeth.
- Don't go to bed with a bottle of juice, soda or other sugar-rich drink. Anything other than water can increase chances of tooth decay.
- Don't let thumb sucking go too far. If the habit is not broken early on, it could lead to buck teeth.
